Great Shoes.
Well, no doubt these are very comfortable shoes! One problem with them though: if you’re going to be very active in them, they’re just canvas and do get holes and fall apart within a few months or even weeks. But take care of them, and they last a while. I bought a pair and learned that they fell apart. Then got another pair and took more care of them and I still wear them!

I love these shoes but I’ll probably end up putting in-soles because I have high arches. It’s amazing how incredibly fast the order came though. My shoe size can range from a woman’s 6, 6.5, or 7 depending on the brand. I bought a woman’s size 6.5 Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Hi-top and it fits perfectly. I’ll definitely be shopping at Zappos more!

These are typical Chucks like any other. They’re narrow keep this in mind. If buying for a female, remember they are marked in mens sizing. I ordered these for my boyfriend and he’s a typical us mens 10 we had to order him a 9 in Chuck Taylors, he did try the 10 and they were too large. Typically I’m a 6 1/2 us womens; I have to order a size 4. The white is kind of off and doesn’t match the other whites of the shoe…kind of weird.

They are much larger than a normal women’s size. My daughter normally wears a women’s size 10, but with these, she wears an 8 to 8 1/2.

These shoes are awesome. I do have wide feet, and they’re arched, so these shoes make my feet hurt after a while (thank goodness for insoles!). I wear a 8.5 in Women, and I ordered the proper size, and they’re still a little big on me. I’ll keep them nonetheless.

My husband has been wearing these shoes since he was in high school, for around 40 years. Not the same pair, but the same make/model! They are comfortable, durable, and go with everything (now that they are back in style)! Since he has been wearing the same size since high school, I do not know how they compare to other tennis shoes size-wize. We also bought a pair for our 18 year old son, also a long-time fan of Converse tennis shoes. Anyway, grab a pair, you will not be disappointed. They provide classic comfort! Also, Zappos was the best buy because we did not have to pay shipping or taxes, and it was a whole lot faster and easier buying online than going to a store! The shoes arrived about a week after we ordered them. We are all smiles here! Way to go, Zappos! We will be back.

I remember as a kid in the late 50’s having only four tennis shoe options: Chuck Taylor Converse; high top or low cut; black or white. I decided to reclaim some of my youth with this modern monochromatic version. I generally only wear boots, but when on movie sets recording sound I needed a quieter shoe during takes. I picked up a pair of the All Star Core Hi and went totally stealth! Gotta’ give it up for Converse! Great shoe.

Let’s be honest – you know what’s up if you’re ordering a fresh pair of Chucks. Styles and fads come and go, Chucks are everlasting. I’m 28 and will undoubtedly own dozens more in my remaining years. These particular pair arrived just as advertised. Color is slightly off-white with a cool yellow tinge. Do I recommend? Frickin ‘a. Just keep livin’, friends. Great classic shoes. I am a street size 8.5 and had to get these in a 7.5. I also have wide feet and these accommodate me perfectly. I had to order a few different sizes to get the right fit. Love them!

Not the same as they were–
My husband is 55, and he’s been wearing them since he was 30. He stopped wearing them for the past five years or so because he had a job with a more formal environment, but he switched jobs recently to a more casual environment, and he was so happy to be able to wear chucks again, so he put on his old pair and wore them for about six months. Then, they wore out.
He ordered his usual size 13, and it was too big–then he ordered a size smaller, and it was too small. The biggest difference now is that the top topper that used to be rubber is plastic now and it just doesn’t have the flex. Then he tried a 12 on at the store. That fix, but still wasn’t comfortable. He switched to VANs. Just not the same, either in manufacturing or in quality control.

These shoes usually run big as a warning, but regardless they are super fun and nice shoes to have. I used these shoes to paint for an Etsy customer!

These are quite comfortable shoes. They feel like they’re made of sturdy materials and so far they work as expected. I bought these to wear when I’m doing squats, deadlifts etc. because I had read that these were as close to going barefoot as you can get at an affordable price. They do feel really good while lifting and I imagine might be a great casual walking shoe as well. They do not irritate my Achilles bursitis at all! My only complaint at this time is that they look and feel what I imagine clown shoes would look and feel like if I were wearing them and would take some getting used to if I wore them to run/jog. Everyone says to order them a half size small but it seems as though they don’t make 13 1/2 so I went ahead with a 14 since I have read they run narrow. I normally wear a 14 to a 14 1/2 4E in athletic shoes. These extend quite a bit past my toes and but I’m going to hang onto them (strictly for lifting) anyway. I do plan to order a size 13 and see how they fit. I’m afraid they will be too narrow even if they are long enough but it won’t hurt to try.
As a kid, teen and young man I never cared for the style and look of Converse shoes on others. As a 47-year-old man who has just purchased his first pair of Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars I can’t understand what I didn’t like about them as a kid.

These feel updated from the ones from the past they feel a bit more comfortable more lighter the footbed feels padded if you like a classic look go with these if you need size help go to YouTube I’m a size 9.5-10 I got a size 9 . They feel comfy before I had a 8.5 they felt too tight
