Comfy but awkward. I bought these bc I saw someone wearing the high top version, and they were SO cute. On me…they just felt like clown shoes. I couldn’t justify the price. I’m going to return them.
Gary –
Sneaker is very light and comfortable. The insole feels like memory foam. The platform doesn’t look too feminine, so a guy like me can wear them.
Amy –
I love these Chuck Taylor’s! They actually feel like running shoes. I’ve always loved the look of Converse but they never felt good on my feet because they are so flat and no room for good insoles. These are completely different. So much more comfortable. They aren’t clunky or heavy. They run true to size for me.
Jewels –
I love these. After reading other reviews I sized down to a 7 normally wear 7.5 without socks and an 8 with. They’re cushy and comfy. And for a platform they have some give.
Ginia –
The shoes are a perfect fit and size, even without arch support. They appear well made and look very stylish. Really like the extra lift.
Evangelina –
Not a fan of Converse ..but O Boy..these are so comfy and cute…sooo many compliments from all ages… Get Some

The fit is good. I usually take 8.5 in shoes, got these sneakers in 8. The sneaker gives me that boost in the heel area that I like with arch support and light weight sneaker on top of platform sole. I’m a short woman and I feel good wearing these. I work at an electric plant in the office and I received a lot of likes from my co-workers.

Fit is good, but I should have ordered a size 6 instead of 6.5. Otherwise great!

Be specific about your likes and dislikes. How was the fit and size? What does the material feel like? How awesome (or not) do you feel wearing them?

I have been wanting little white low rise converse tennies to wear in summer with shorts and cropped jeans for a couple of years. Problem is, I’m an old lady of 55, have been developing plantar fasciitis in my L foot (already had to have surgery for it on my R foot a #of years ago) and flat tennies are something I just CANNOT do anymore. I’ve gotten to a point where my Dansko Professionals and my Ahi hiking shoes with custom orthotics are the only things I can wear outside, and neither of those options are at all summery (also in the house can only wear my Hoka One One recovery slides, those things work but they are butt ugly!). So I’ve been on a quest to locate a similar looking shoe that actually has enough support that I can wear coupled with my orthotics. After trying every $100-200 white tennie on the numerous plantar facsitis “best of” lists and having no success (almost all of them resulted in heel slippage or just plain not enough arch support), I happened upon the Converse platform version, and low and behold, they have enough solid support WITH my orthotics, that I can wear them for an extended period of time, enough to get through my work day! I love the platform look, the additional 1″ I’ll take (I’m 5’3″), and my 16 year old daughter gave me the thumbs up for being trendy enough to go out in public with, LOL! They are a bit heavy, but I don’t mind that. I’ve noticed that there are many shoes that have ok arch support, but then they have no forefoot support. When you’re parked high on that arch, it automatically causes more pressure on your forefoot, and if there’s not enough shoe underneath that, ouch after walking for a while… Platforms eliminate that problem. The arch itself in this shoe is small if you are comparing it to a Dansko clog, but with my orthotics, it works well. There is a little bit of toe rub on my outer little toes (I have narrow to medium width feet), but that’s eliminated by wearing some hidden footie socks. I recommend this shoe, love it’s look!

Super comfortable. I literally stand at work all day. These are not as narrow as original chucks and are far lighter. I ordered a second pair after wearing just one day.

SUper cute & very comfy! I usually cannot wear Chucks as they’re too narrow for me. I decided to give this pair a try and they’re great! I’m in retail, and am on my feet the majority of the day so I need comfy shoes. They do slip on the heel a little, but it doesn’t bother me at all. Love the platform to give me added height! I ordered 1/2 size down, and they’re perfect.

Converse has updated and you can’t go wrong here…comfortable and some height. I am a solid US 8.5 and this style does run a half size larger so be aware. I wear these without socks or very thin peds so if you plan to wear heavier athletic socks take your regular size. Good cushioning and decent support. I have walked 4 or so miles in these and was just fine. Most complements have come from men. A bit of nostalgia for the brand I think. Go Converse.

The only Chucks I’ve ever had that are comfortable are men’s John Varvatos Converse with elastic laces that have a cushioned removable insole. They’re falling apart so I sadly had to look for something different. These Chuck Taylor Moves are so comfortable and fit perfectly right out of the box. The platform is cushiony and although I have a wide foot, these ‘medium’ wide sneakers fit my Freds. I wish they came in more colors because I would buy another pair. No pain or blisters after wearing them all day. My old Chucks are a men’s 6/women’s 8 so I bought size 8 and they are the right fit. These are great sneakers.
Gail –
I always wear an 8.5 & an 8 fit perfectly even with a thin no show sock. A lot of cushion for my very finicky feet. Look really cute with leggings & jeans. would also look very cute with skirts or casual dresses. Lightweight. Bought the white.
Caron –
I have small wide fee. I was so surprised that these shoes where wide enough and so light weight. Not like a normal heavy converse. My new favorite must go travel shoe! xoxox

Originally ordered a women’s size 10, it was too large, returned and exchanged for 9.5 and the fit is spot on. The platform makes the shoes so comfortable and they are very cute. Looking forward to wearing them.

I sized down half a size and it fit perfectly! Super comfortable! Love walking in these!
Leslye –
I love the wedge! These are very comfortable. I dinged a star because they run very big. I had to return for a smaller size even after I had sized down. They are very cute shoes.

I love Converse, but haven’t been able to wear them for years because they’re flat and I need some arch support. Enter the new platform Converse with an arch!!! Ordered a size 7 instead of my usual 7.5 because I read on another site that they run a bit large, and the 7 fit perfectly. They add height, easy to walk in, comfy, cute. I hope Converse never stops carrying this style!!
Rita –
I wear a true women’s 10 and forgot that in Chucks, I always have to size down to avoid the “clown” effect. With these, I forgot! I ordered a 10 and they’re about a 1/2 size too big and result in heel slip. Pretty bummed as these are INSANELY comfortable! Beyond that, the white platforms do make your feet look pretty big. I wish that Converse could somehow just add more width to Chuck Taylors and create this type of insole for it. At least that’s what I was looking for…

If u order a size smaller than what u would wear in any other – these are amazing! So comfortable and super light- wish they made these in more colors
Michelle –
I love these shoes but they run big. I’m a 9.5 so I ordered a 9 based on other reviews. The 8.5 would have been better but they’re so cute, I couldn’t wait and I wore them anyway with thicker socks. I’ll will definitely order these again in a size smaller for spring.
