I normally wear an 11W and have a longer second toe. The arch support is perfect and the shoe fits my high instep (top of my foot) perfectly, as if it were made for people with high insteps. However I found these to be narrow in width and uncomfortable on my toes due to how they narrow to a taper at the toes. My toes are both pressed together and almost touching the inside of the top of the shoe, which feels awful when it is hot outside and my feet are sweating. The material is also somewhat slippery feeling overal, which can be a bit of a mental block to putting them on without socks. The shoes do not fall off while walking, which is a plus, but I will only wind up using these for quick trips to the mailbox.
